A Night Tale At The Threshold Of Howl is a poetry collection based on a call for actions for my continent and to encourage the people to stand up against what has beset them as from colonialism to neo-colonialism. The poems in this book talk of life�s experience as an African and Nigeria in particular in a nutshell and the bridges crossed to remain resolute as each day promises a better life for the living. This collection explores the human experience as an African and a Nigerian, the actions we need taking to overcome the challenges of life and the love we have experienced along the lines.

Dooley constructs her collection of dark, beautiful poems of love, devotion, beauty, and artistry.Her fictional character in the book entitled House of Dark Poetry and Literature, Edwin Peter Erwin, who is a writer, poet, editor, and literature reviewer, battling with the demons from his past.The character’s legacy continues, even after his death, as a collection of dark, mysterious poetry found inside an old desk drawer in his home.
