M. Shahnoor is a renowned poet and researcher of regional history in Bangladesh. He is a well-known name not only in contemporary Bengali literature, but also in global literature.  His successful journey in all categories of story-poetry, radio drama, travel, biography, history tradition, liberation war, he has published several books in all branches of Bengali literature. His writings are regularly published in various magazines and periodicals of the country and abroad. The songs and poems written by this creative writer translated into 30 languages ​​of the world are being broadcasted on national and international television and radio.

 

He was born on 08 September 1979 in Ballavpur village under Mehari union under Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria district profession-writing and research. His father's name was Haji Abdul Jabber Ballavpuri (Rah.) and his mother's name was Jahanara Begum.  He has been writing poems and stories since childhood. In his student life, he was a very talented student who was first in every examination. After obtaining a higher degree in the country he studied advanced technology from Marine and Warfare Academy of China. During his career, he worked for UNIFIL for a long time. Various countries of Europe and Asia have been visited. First in the magazine

Published poems 'Agni Bani' were published in 1994 and 'Swapna Dekhar Neito Mana' was aired on Bangladesh Betar in 1996.  His first book of poetry, Smritir Michile, was published at the Ekushey Book Fair in 2005. He has published 14 books, including research, travel, biography, history-tradition and poetry.
